It is rare to come across releases like the one we’re about to announce. Z\u030ciga the talented musician who takes his craft very seriously. <\/span><\/p>\n

Independent artist, songwriter, producer and jazz trombonist is thrilled to announce the release of the debut single accompanied by his own musical video, available on \u017diga\u2019s youtube VEVO channel<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Z\u030ciga’s music is a celebration of existence. His curiosity and fascination with the unknown compelled him to experiment with a vast variety of art forms, ranging from classical music to jazz, hiphop and electronic beats.<\/span><\/p>\n

He was formerly better know in the jazz scene as a acclaimed jazz trombonist and as an imaginative hip- hop beat\/electronic producer.<\/span><\/p>\n

He released various digital, vinyl and cassette tape formats with labels: Burnt tapes, rx:tx, Urban Waves, Acorn tapes and Radio Juicy. (see the sixth issue<\/a>)<\/span><\/p>\n

He’s performed, recorded and collaborated with great musicians from the contemporary jazz scene from Europe, as well as New York and Los Angeles (BADBADNOTGOOD, Go Go Penguin, MNDSGN, SHIGETO, Jason Palmer, Alex Sipiagin, Dre Hocevar and many more) on various European festivals and venues as\u00a0<\/span>Casa de Musica \u2013 Porto, Jazz Festival Ljubljana, Festival LENT, BOILER ROOM, Kino S\u030cis\u030cka, North See Jazz Festival, Spectrum NYC, as solo artist or as a guest artist of the renowned bands: Big Band RTV Slovenija, CODARTS Big Band, Container Doxa, \u017diga Murko 13, Zlatko Kavcic and European Jazz Orchestra.<\/span><\/p>\n

His love and fascination for Soul and funk music was strong already in his youth. By studying and rediscovering the influential vocal talents from the 1970’s and 1980’s he got inspired to pursue his own style and showcase his own voice. <\/span><\/p>\n

The single Shy girl is accompanied by a colorful music video<\/a>, directed by the up-and-coming film director and photographer Marcella Zanki<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
