Letters by Type Salon
Alja Herlah and Krista Likar are young graphic designers focusing on designing letters and typography.
They have recently founded a typography studio Type Salon, where they showcase Slovenian typographic heritage in a contemporary digital look. This month they also released their first typefaces, Univerza Sans and Sopran. Univerza Sans was created to mark the 100th anniversary of the University of Ljubljana. The typeface stylistically focuses on the Slovenian avant-garde with a touch of some forms from late secession. The character of the typeface Sopran, however, reflects the elegance of opera and ballet and is especially suitable for titles and poster sizes. Read more about the released typefaces and case studies on their website.
These are their “Letters for Friends and Strangers”.
